This scene is so damn beautiful.. One of my favourites ever film scenes of all time for sure. Just choked up on my tears when watching this for the first time in ages. So wonderful. <3
I cannot overstate the brilliance of this movie and how it became embedded in my subconscious many years ago. At first, it’s seemed to be a funny movie about a guy. Then I realized it was about me. I watched and watched, then I bought the score (not soundtrack) months later, so it wouldn’t fade away. Years later, I come back to it, only for this part to move me to silent tears. For all those who live their lives “in quiet desperation (that’s you),” this is the One.
@Seekrr97 I totally agree with you! I love this movie and it’s a part of me!
The only thing I can say is – I don’t want to understand what he’s talking again EVER!!!

This movie destroyed my preconceptions of what it is to watch a “predictable” movie. Never saw it coming.
