@boo2ubam Dove is a “product” for sure. Body Wash, Conditioners and so on. They don’t use they’re advertising as “Oh use our products and you’ll be beautiful like me!” When somebody tries to make a good point, why is it that everybody has to make a huge deal about it and find something to criticize them on. What other companies do you know that support this? Exactly none in particular
So when you want to try and rebel against that you know they put a lot meaning into think about what your saying
@AvalaDemson DIRECTOR-PWNED
@SereneMoonGirl Of course they’re advertising. You don’t have to show products to be selling. They’re selling their campaign for beauty.
this was amazing…such a good composition!
@neecee401100 Your breasts don’t stop developing until you are 25. Wait another 9 years. Besides, having huge breasts isn’t what its all cracked up to be-I am quite big (naturally!) but 60% of clothes can’t be bought of rack-it doesn’t fit at all! Not to mention you have to order pricey bras of the internet-lots of teen/young clothes stores at malls don’t have the cute bras in my size. But I am happy with my body, mind you, I won’t get a reduction cuz of society!
@Xenthir i dont believe they were advertising, did you see any products of doves in that commercial?
@tpiper
LOL OWNED!
God, freaking well done and a beautifull message
Favorite!

@captainoats112 Yea I’m 16 and it doesn’t make me feel any better about small chest. I’m seriously contemplating implants. For some reason it just really bothers me..
The beginning is a bit creepy when the little girl just stares and stares at the camera. other than that gret commercial!
I think the whole “standtard of beauty” concept is wrong, outdated, and disgusting. I believe that beauty comes in all races, colors, shapes, sizes, and ethinites. I think its sad that these people such as the Entertainment and Modeling Industry want to put beauty in a box and not be opened minded towards other considerations. I feel its very important that women feel good about themselves and feel confident. But in the end, its external beauty that fades, internal does not.
Wonderful video.
“talk to your daughter before the media does… oh and buy our products”
It is all about what we allow ourselves to be exposed to, and what we allow our children to be exposed to as a starting foundation. In my home, we do not watch TV channels, but we have televisions in our house. We watch family videos, documentaries, and pre-screened movies as a family. No fashion magazines come in to our home. Instead, I have a “make over” day with my daughter once a week where we have fun painting each other’s nails and styling each other’s hair.
Dove is a ‘beauty’ product…….
@nailbitter La Breeze by Simian.
Great vid Tim, the beauty industry is rotten and this needs to be said. The woman at 41secs who says “firmer” looks freaky – shes had more than pills. ^^
i hate those commercials with boobs hanging out!! i dont want to see them nor does my boyfriend. there are half naked ads everywhere! its not that im conservative, but it has a bad effect on most girls self esteem.
Hi my name is Onye and I’m on a quest to find out what beauty really is. Follow me on my channel and on my blog as I will continue to post about the many contests and people I will meet. Go to quest4onye.wordpress . c o m
When I was a kid, I was either bullied by the boys (having rocks thrown at me, making fun of me) or totally ignored by the girls, ’cause I was the “ugly duckling,” but now as a
middle-aged woman, the men are complimenting me by saying I am pretty and now the women talk to me with respect. Simple rule: show respect, get respect.
¡Soberbio!
This video is amazing. I hope this really changes the way people think about themselves and the media. I watch it every once in a while to remind myself the world in insane.
not only does the media make girls strive to artificialize themselves into something they are not, but it pressures them to find mates based only on artificial features such as money, fame and “fashion” style
What’s the song called that plays and who’s it by?
@maxstiefel
It is La Breeze by Simian
