Huong Thanh & Nguyen Le – Fragile Beauty

‘Fragile Beauty’, a song from singer Huong Thanh and guitarist Nguyen Le’s very beautiful jazz/fusion/world music-album with the same title: Fragile Beauty, released in 2007. The album offers great fusion of jazz and world music, Vietnamese folk songs are combined with jazz sounds. It’s a versatile album, offering songs of a meditative quiet nature, but also uptempo pop style songs. Nguyen Le is a well known jazz guitarist who has participated in many jazz-fusion-world music projects through the years. The same for Huong Thanh. She’s a fantastic singer, her voice has many colours and she sings evry little detail flawlessly. Fragile Beauty is a greatly recorded and produced album. Highly recommended!
