NLP Training for the Busy Person

nlp
by 戩天姜

The rapidly progressing development of technology has turned the world we live in into a fast-paced world. The unending piles of deadlines and demands caused people to be always in a hurry, chasing things, and racing against time to accomplish everything within a strict schedule. In fact, many people are now complaining that twenty four hours is not enough. Those who are employed do not even have the time to go out and do things other than their work. Because of this, people have devised various ways to maximize the people’s time inside their houses to help them be involved in activities in the comfort of their own homes. Thus, trends like home schooling, distance education, and home-based degrees have been gaining popularity over the years. The practice of nlp training is no exception.

NLP, which stands for Neuro-linguistic Programming, is an approach to psychotherapy and personality development that has grown as potentially major industry over the years. NLP training courses are now being offered to aid people in eliminating their negative traits and improving performance by using techniques grounded on linguistic and psychological concepts. Institutes, training centers, and even universities have begun incorporating NLP courses into their roster of regular programs.  However, full packed schedules and immensely busy lifestyles prevent a lot of people in enrolling for such time consuming courses. Because of these constraints, NLP training centers have come up with innovative and alternative ways to provide NLP training courses for people who do not have the time.

Like many other distance learning programs, home-based NLP training is also now available. Instructional materials like DVDs, CDs, computer software programs, and books are easily accessible through a lot of various NLP resource websites. This way, people who can’t afford to travel back and forth to training centers can learn NLP from the same well-known experts without spending time and effort for transportation. Moreover, those who have full-time jobs can utilize the free time they have in the office or while commuting to and from their house to read the books or listen to the audio materials.

NLP has been praised and recommended by a great number of people who have benefited from the method. It is now acknowledged as one of the most effective ways to boost one’s personal and professional performance. However, not everyone is able to physically attend NLP courses due to some constraints like time and conflicting schedules. But thanks to technology, this problem has been addressed by the wide variety of alternative ways to learn NLP.

NLP Training for a Goal-Oriented Life

nlp
by craig.martell

The modern world has witnessed an upsurge in the reported cases of depression, especially in Western countries like the United States of America or Japan. Because of the emergence of social and political problems and issues, many people, young and old, have begun to lose interest in life and living. If there is one word that would describe the lives of today’s generation in general, it is this: lost. A lot of people are still at a loss for a purpose, leading their everyday lives for the mere purpose of just getting by. Only a few people have set their own goals and plans to guide them in life. If you are one of those people who do not have a definite goal in life, you should consider enrolling in an NLP training class.

One of the most promising methods of improving an individual’s personal and professional outlooks is NLP training. NLP is an acronym that stands for Neuro-linguistic programming. So what exactly is NLP?

In the 1970′s, linguistic scholars Richard Brandler and John Grinder came up with the idea that the behavior and actions of an individual is closely linked to his or her linguistic and psychological (including those that involve neurons) characteristics. Using these concepts that involve speech, language, and mental processes, Brandler ad Grinder, along with other scholars of the same interest, have devised ways and techniques to treat patients with psychological problems as well as ordinary people who seek personality and career development. NLP courses have also been devised to help people who are dedicated in improving their lives.

Here are other things how NLP can help you have a goal-oriented life.

Life coaching is one of the major elements of NLP training courses. NLP practitioners and trainers are trained to assist NLP participants in working towards a more focused and more goal-oriented life.
Being primarily grounded on psychological principles, NLP strongly believes in the power of the mind. NLP aims to teach students that the mind can do a lot of things: persuasion, influence, successful communication, and many others.
NLP programs also teach hypnosis as a method of gaining control and mastery of the human mind. This way, NLP aspires to help people gain total control of their lives.
By setting specific goals and integrating into the course the things that the individual want to achieve, NLP training courses provides people with the purpose and the methods to a more fulfilled life.

NLP Training Courses ? Sleight of Mouth

nlp
by Yarnspider

Sleight of mouth is an NLP training courses reframing pattern.  Reframing is a way to field questions and objections.  A reframe on the other hand, is an intervention intended to correct a person’s perceived meaning to a particular bit of information.  Sleight of mouth in NLP courses is also referred to as conversational belief change.

These patterns may also be used to strengthen beliefs and are best used in combinations.  Rather than on proofs, these are based on mere plausibility.
This NLP training technique has many patterns classified into 4 basic types namely change meaning, change cause, comparisons and change logical level.
Following are examples of sleight of mouth patterns.

Example of a belief: NLP for business is not good for the particular type of organization that we have.

The following responses illustrate the various patterns under sleight of mouth but are not necessarily true about the NLP belief cited above:

1. Hierarchy of Criteria:  For this response to be effective, it must relate to the values of the person being responded to.

Rather than relying on opinions, don’t you think it is better to focus on your new objectives and how NLP can help achieve them?

2. Consequence: Because of that, your people are deprived of the best training opportunity available.

3. Another Outcome:  The issue is not on whether it is right for the organization but whether it is right for some people in the organization.

4. Metaphor:  Would a basketball coach who scouted the best ball clubs not be appropriate for a basketball team?  NLP for Business is about how the best in business achieve best business results.

5. Redefine 1:  It may not be right for your organization. Best results may be achieved with proper implementation.

6. Redefine 2:  NLP is about producing the best results, do you mean your organization is not for the best business results?

7. Chunk Down:  Which parts of NLP are not proper? In what specific ways are they improper?

8. Chunk Up:  You mean improvements in performance will never be appropriate?

9. Counter Example:  Is it not possible for one area of NLP to be right for your organization?  There should at least be one, right?  What would be right for you? Where would NLP be appropriate for?

10. Intent: It is not my intention to sell something inappropriate; but rather to benefit you with savings and increased efficiency which NLP may provide.

11. Model of the world:  That may be 100%t true based on your experience; However, similar organizations have differing experiences. Wouldn’t you be interested?

12. Reality Strategy:  How would you know NLP is not right for you?

13. Apply to self: That’s improper to say, knowing many other companies have benefitted.

14. Change Frame Size:  It may seem that way now, however, in five years, you’ll appreciate it.

15. Meta Frame: You only say that because you can’t handle the impact. I can guide you through the process.

A Guide to NLP Training Courses

nlp
by Yarnspider

Numerous ways are taught when studying NLP. Proper selection of available NLP training courses is significant because not all techniques are compatible or effective to the person taking the course. One should consider different areas, have a goal, and know the correct and efficient way that would reduce teaching and learning issues and problems. Knowing which course that would suit a person’s goal would most likely be a very rewarding journey.

What is NLP?

NLP or Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a methodology that deals with three dominant aspects in life-the mind, language and behavior. NLP training handles the study of different development stages, and opens the idea of having one’s mind be re-programmed from a certain model. It is also used as a process to achieve human excellence, overcoming various mental obstacles and clearing the path for successful living.

NLP History
A Professor, John Grinder and a graduate student Richard Bandler believed that the human behavior has a structure which can be broken down and be re-programmed to achieve altered patterns and its positive results. After studying remarkable people and gathering behavioral patterns, they decided to try and teach it to others which to the surprise of many, garnered positive and productive results.

There are four levels in NLP training courses. These are the Diploma Course, Practitioner Course, Master Practitioner Course and the Trainer Course. Each has its own subjective expertise but aims at a single successful result.

• Diploma. This course would determine the suitable NLP course for an individual. You should finish this course before you can decide to take another step further. Some people stop after finishing the diploma course because they think that they have already learned everything they needed to learn for self-improvement while others go to the next level to further educate themselves.

• Practitioner. Significant NLP skills would be taught for the purpose of practicing these skills in real life. This is the most practical level among all the NLP levels.

• Master Practitioner. This deals with the advanced methods of NLP. This also prepares you to become a coach or trainer.

• Trainer Course This NLP training level aims to develop a trainer’s skills and enhance it further to the best of one’s ability. Once you have completed this level, you can start coaching other people and help themselves succeed in life.

NLP courses are designed to improve different areas in people’s lives. This study would help them get rid of negativity which is an obstacle that blocks their road to success. With numerous method improvements throughout the years, one would be able to handle knowledge that would prove helpful and give them productive and positive outcomes that was never thought possible to achieve.

Training NLP important guidline

nlp
by Yarnspider

so they’re a great (and safe) way to dip your toe in the water. Bear in mind that there will probably be a sales pitch at the end to encourage you to sign up for the main training. They also let you get a feel for the Company’s style and professionalism. It does pay to shop around, using this guide as your filter.

This is by no means a full programme – NLP is usually taught in a formal order of training and development, called Foundation, Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Trainer (or variations thereof)

These courses usually share similar topics and a common syllabus, but bear in mind it changes from Company to Company, so ask for a break down. There is no real governing body, nor any real compliance regulations. Some courses centre around therapy, some business, some selling and influencing. Make sure that the focus is one you want to focus on.

Foundation courses are usually between 2 and 4 days, and cover the basics of one are such as Rapport, or Language. These aren’t full Practitioner certifications but certainly give you a taste of the real thing. Good because they’re short and you can do it in a weekend. Bad in that there’s usually no recognised qualification at the end.

Most Practitioner courses are similar in content. Master Practitioner courses vary more in terms of subjects and applications, and a Trainer Training even more so. Again, ask for a syllabus or brochure and make sure you can tick off the areas you want to get good at.

The Association of NLP, which is a UK based non-profit organisation set up in order to promote NLP, recommend 125 “contact hours” with an NLP Trainer, spread over 20+ days, to become an NLP Practitioner. This is the amount of actual time spent with an NLP Trainer which they feel best covers everything to a level where the student is confident they know the syllabus. The American Board of NLP recommend 120 hours.

Assuming an 8 hour day and allowing for lunch & tea breaks, that’s about six and a half hours of “class time” per day. Therefore most NLP Practitioner courses take somewhere around 7 – 25 days to complete.

That’s often done in a modular format, say one weekend a month, for the best part of a year. So this month might be an introduction to NLP weekend, next month they’ll cover Rapport and Rep Systems, month three will be Language Patterns, and so on. So you come in and out of class each month and gradually piece it together. That’s a good way to do it if you have lots of family or work commitments, cos you can spread it out over time. However, it takes longer time and you need to be sure that you’re going to stick to the programme and attend every module. Companies often offer you the chance to repeat ones you missed because they know people often do drop out.

There are distance learning packages available but there is no live training to attend. So maybe you’d get a workbook, a video, some audiotapes or a CD Rom and written exercises to complete. This is a great way to get into the basics and you can work at your own pace. Problem is there’s no face to face contact, and NLP is an experiential technology, which means you really need to work with other people and experience the interaction between you to really get the learning’s. It is “Neuro Linguistics” after all.

Some courses are built up in chunks, covering different parts of the syllabus, so you might do the core Presuppositions of NLP in the first part, then Presenting skills later. You can even design your own “menu” with some companies, putting together the chunks you want to do in the order you want to do them in. Good in that you tailor make it. Downside is that for most people that’s too much like hard work.

Overall, you need to balance work commitments, personal life and your preferred way of digesting all that you’ve learned.

What You Can Learn in NLP Training

nlp
by ccox888

The whole concept of nlp training courses has not been available for a long time compared to other concepts and theories in psychology. It was in the 1970′s when this concept was known. It is somewhat new compared to other studies in the psychotherapy field. NLP is all about interpersonal communication in relation to the person’s behavior and the person’s subjective experience. The goal of this program is to help people be happier and satisfied with their lives. But like any other studies and inventions that have been made, there are still negative feedbacks from some people. Controversies and issues may be involved but there are still people who are interested in it.

A lot of people nowadays are interested in NLP because of the benefits it brings to people.  There are different centers that offer NLP training. These training centers will give you all the information you need to know about NLP. Some examples of institutions that offer trainings related to NLP are universities, companies, or private organizations formed for the purpose of improving other people’s lives.

You can learn a lot of things if you enroll in this kind of training. You can check out the following paragraphs.

If you ask other people what they have learned in NLP, they would answer you with how it improved their life and how it helped them communicate better with other people.
Most people also find it hard to be satisfied with their lives because of all the problems they are encountering. With NLP, this can be improved by focusing on the positive aspects of your life and personality.
This training will help you improve the way you live and at the same time you can help other people too. A lot of people train so that they could use their skills in helping other people. NLP training is similar to NLP coaching. NLP coaching focuses more in helping the person herself. If you are the participant, then there is someone who is trained in NLP that would help you.
In the training area, you will be trained, taught and informed on how to talk and help other people. You do not have to be a graduate in psychology or a doctor to have this type of training. In NLP, no matter what your background is, you can receive the training. It would help you in your life and could benefit the people around you also. NLP Training Courses?Becoming a Successful NLP Trainer

nlp
by craig.martell

If you have a background on NLP, then you would know that there are different levels in NLP that you should finish before you can start coaching NLP principles to other people. There are different NLP training programs that would give you diplomas and certification. These courses would be your training in becoming a certified NLP trainer. The basic principle of Neuro Linguistic Program is for the personal development of an individual. NLP training would help you to remove your negative habits, personalities and attitude and exchange them with positive ones that will help in the improvement of your life.

If you want to be an NLP trainer, you have to first understand what trainers do before you decide to be one. Here are some responsibilities of an NLP trainer and some tips on how to become an effective one.

In the NLP courses, the person would be trained to persuade someone positively. Communication is very powerful to people especially to those who are vulnerable. What you say to them can really make in impact so the trainer must know what to say and how to explain these things to them. People are easily influenced by the things around them especially the negative ones so the trainer’s job would be to make things positive for the person. This skill is called the Neuro linguistic communication skill. This skill must be mastered by those who have completed the training course. Neuro linguistic persuasion is the skill the trainer must have to be able to convince and influence the receiver to understand and listen to what they are saying.
The learning styles of an audience or a recipient must also be learned by the trainer. Each person has their own way on learning and listening so the trainer must know how to understand this. Good trainers are those who can acknowledge their students and audience even if they are different from each other. Since they have different problems and backgrounds, how you approach them will also be different.

Yes, it could be a challenge but it will all be taught in the NLP training courses that you will take. Trainings take months and even years for you to really understand the whole concept. This means you need to spend a lot of time to learn how to help other people through NLP. You must finish all the training levels so you can become a successful NLP trainer.

Birmingham NLP Training Courses

nlp
by Yarnspider

As an NLP master professional and trainer, I reckon it would be useful for you to know what my involvement with NLP has been.

I started learning NLP more than 9 years ago and it’s been a breathtaking journey. I actually started acquainting about NLP by reading a not too many books and I even worked with ‘clients’ and family members before I got my certification. Looking behind me now, even though my skills were tiny and I’m sure I even did a few techniques wrong, I was still getting excellent results.

I then did my NLP practitioner training. Many people assume you do the practitioner training and then the master practitioner training – and that the comprehension and the skills are in the trainings.

The truth is a good course will instill inside you the systems and some of the skills that you will need, but, as significantly, a good NLP training course will accelerate your expansion and self development – removing limiting ideology and blocks while amplifying your persistence and resolve to get up and achieve.

For me, I revealed that I was able to see more, to hear more and to feel more. I started to learn a way my state, what I was thinking, to switch my own beliefs, to look at truths as creditable and not ultimate nor immovable.

NLP has been extremely liberating and I am experiencing so much more of the world. My senses have been heightened.

And yet it has been so much more than theoretical!

I’ve done every sort of sales job there is, from door to door sales to telemarketing, from consultative selling to selling retail…. and I’ve found that my NLP talents help me to realize much more than my colleagues could. Far more.

As a ‘therapist’ I have been lucky enough to be featured in the news a lot of times for cases that were intended to be ‘impossible’. These were folks that suffered from phobias, anxieties, mysterious prolonged agony and each and every one of them had endured for years and had seen so many specialists before me. And yet inside a handful of hours ( for the most difficult of cases), they were ‘sorted’.

NLP is in the doing, in the experience.

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming and you will be learning the way to overcome challenges, to switch someone’s frame of time, to dump fears in under five mins and other truly excellent feats…. and of course, the more you practice, the more you learn.

I can say, the biggest gift I’ve received from my journey into NLP is the realisation that NLP is such a lot that static, there is still that is still to be learnt and changed and many new ideas to be made. It is an exciting time.

I can now cure a phobia within a minute. I can change people’s beliefs with simply a sentence vs a ‘session’ and life is just different.

After attending even just the NLP consultant coaching your life will change. Guaranteed. You’ll understand how your brain works, you’ll begin to see patterns and most importantly, you’ll get a new angle and a new take on things.

This will continue to refine itself over time and looking back 3 years from now, you will be stunned at how significantly things have changed for you. This can continue happening forever.

A good NLP tutor will give and give, unreservedly. He/she will even give you what they’ve just created/realised because they know that in the giving, there is far more taking, there’s learning. Pick your tutor wisely.

Will narrow-AI Natural language processing (NLP) software ever correctly interpet this paragraph?

The world’s primary source of caffeine is the coffee bean (the seed of the coffee plant), from which coffee is brewed. Caffeine content in coffee varies widely depending on the type of coffee bean and the method of preparation used; even beans within a given bush can show variations in concentration. In general, one serving of coffee ranges from 40 milligrams, for a single shot (30 milliliters) of arabica-variety espresso, to about 100 milligrams for a cup (120 milliliters) of drip coffee.
